Welcome
Welcome to Fakenham Infant and Nursery School from all the staff and children.
We are a thriving and successful school serving the families of Fakenham and surrounding villages. We have a Nursery unit which has places for pupils aged between 2 and 4. The main school takes children from Reception to Year 2.
We are a very friendly and welcoming school and we aim to build a strong and long-lasting relationship with parents and the local community. Read more >>

FINS Friday Newsletter
Currently the attendance percentages at both of our schools are sitting just above 95%. This is
pleasing and would be judged as ‘good’ by OFSTED and the DfE. It is also slightly higher than
we were achieving at this time last year.

This time of year is an exciting time. I am sure many of you went ‘trick or treating’ with your children during half term, we have just had ‘Bonfire Night’ which this year seems to be stretching over two weekends and before you know it, we will be up to our necks in Christmas – the shops already are!

I hope you are all well and that hopefully the Learning Review evenings at both schools have been useful and informative. Apologies again for the FJS ones needing to be by phone, however,
ensuring that contact was made by the teachers was important and earlier in the term, when these were being planned, we were not certain that building issues would be sorted before Christmas.

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust
Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom.
